Welcome to Euro Bus Expo 2008, this year’s showcase event for everyone professionally involved in the European coach and bus industry.
The official show of the CPT, the UK’s trade association for the bus, coach and light rail industry supported by the IRU, EBE08 is firmly established as the biennial gathering for key decision makers from all related industry sectors throughout the British Isles.
A proven draw for exhibitors and visitors alike from throughout Europe and beyond, EBE08 now takes its rightful slot in the international transport exhibition calendar.
The three day trade-only will take place 4th - 6th November 2008 and will again be staged at the internationally-acclaimed and visitor-friendly National Exhibition Centre (NEC), near Birmingham in the United Kingdom.
With its central location at the heart of the Midlands (London is just 100 miles away), the NEC is easy to get to by car, rail, bus or plane. Birmingham International Airport, just two minutes away by dedicated and free Air-Rail Link, provides a gateway to Europe and beyond.
Whilst the NEC’s close proximity to Birmingham International Train Station and the UK Motorway network means that EBE 08 is one of the most easily accessible of all European industry trade fairs.
There is a wide choice of hotels of all kinds within short distance of the venue and parking and transfers across the attractive NEC complex is easy and well managed. Once inside the NEC, the recently refurbished public areas provide an even more attractive place to do business, with a wide range of quality catering and meeting facilities.
Taking place immediately after the torch has been passed on from Beijing, EBE08 is an ideal place to assess the opportunities and implications of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. A massive £17bn (21.25bn Euros) is set to be invested by Transport for London (TfL) and London 2012 to install or upgrade transport capacity and infrastructure in London and beyond in readiness for the 2012 Games.
With virtually all stand space now sold and a host of exciting new developments for this year’s show, Euro Bus Expo 2008 is a “must attend” event for everyone professionally involved in the bus and coach sector.
Unlike many of its European counterparts, EBE08 is a trade only show, which means that exhibitors can be assured of a quality audience to whom they can promote their products and services. Whilst for bona fide visitors, this means that the event is less congested and provides a conducive environment to meet existing and potential customers and suppliers.
