VAT Alliance and Euro Bus Expo 2010
Expo Coach Ltd has formed a partnership with VAT Alliance, who can reclaim the VAT charged on behalf of Expo Coach’s international clients. VAT Alliance will attend to all matters involved in the application to the relevant authority, and will refund you (less the pre-agreed charges) as soon as the refund is received.
Our clients have very little to do once their business relationship with VAT Alliance has been established – let us do the work in order to obtain your refund.
What is VAT?
In the UK and abroad, VAT (Value Added Tax) is charged on most goods and services, thus Expo Coach Ltd is obliged to charge all their exhibitors VAT on their exhibition and related expenses, for services utilised.
International delegates are unable to reclaim the VAT charged by Expo Coach Ltd through their home country’s VAT process. A separate application MUST be made to the relevant authority.
What costs can be claimed?
The following costs may be claimed while traveling overseas (may vary from country to country depending on the local regulations):
- Exhibition (Stand, furniture rental, electricity and lighting etc)
- Conference, Seminar and Summit
- Hotel
- Training
- Vehicle rental
- Business entertainment
- Meals
- Various others
