INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITORS
The show organisers (Expo Coach Ltd) are aware that a large portion of its clients are internationally based and the bulk of expenses that are incurred whilst on business travel, attract Value Added Tax (VAT).
What is VAT?
In the UK and abroad, VAT (Value Added Tax) is charged on most goods and services, thus Expo Coach Ltd is obliged to charge all their exhibitors VAT on their exhibition and related expenses, for services utilised.
International delegates are unable to reclaim the VAT charged by Expo Coach Ltd through their home country’s VAT process. A separate application MUST be made to the relevant authority.
What costs can be claimed?
The following costs may be claimed while traveling overseas (may vary from country to country depending on the local regulations):
- Exhibition (Stand, furniture rental, electricity and lighting etc)
- Conference, Seminar and Summit
- Hotel
- Training
- Vehicle rental
- Business entertainment
- Meals
- Various others
