New exhibitors and new zones add extra dimension to Euro Bus Expo
Euro Bus Expo 2008 will host over 50 new exhibitors when the three day trade-only show opens for business on Tuesday 4th November. Newcomers to EBE08 will feature in all areas of the show, including the three dedicated zones for Technology, Environment and Training & Development which are also making their debuts.

Major Bus Groups put environmental credentials on at Euro Bus Expo 2008
Five of the UK’s largest bus groups, who between them run more than 30,000 vehicles and provide more than 2 billion passengers per year, will be using Euro Bus Expo this autumn to demonstrate how they are reducing their respective carbon footprints.
Co-ordinated by the Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT) UK and in a major first for what is Europe’s largest dedicated industry event this year, Arriva plc, FirstGroup plc, Go Ahead Group plc, National Express Group plc and Stagecoach Group plc will all be highlighting a range of initiatives that they are individually deploying to reduce the environmental impact of their respective operations in a special “Environment Zone” at the show.

Bus Minister to give keynote address at Euro Bus Expo 2008
Minister of State for Transport, the Rt Hon Rosie Winterton MP, will make a keynote address when she visits the bus and coach industry’s biennial showcase on Thursday 6th November this year.
Rosie Winterton will be the first of a series of high profile speakers on the second day of an International Conference programme which is running in parallel with Euro Bus Expo 2008. The Conference will focus on the latest challenges facing the European bus and coach sector.

Europe′s bus and coach show in 2008
Taking place less than two months after the PCV/LGV Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) comes into force (for PCV) across all European Union member states, the highly topical and important issue of training in the bus and coach sector will be fully recognised at Euro Bus Expo 2008 thanks to a special initiative announced by the show organisers.
Sponsored by GoSkills, a dedicated Training & Development Zone has been established right at the heart of the show to allow visitors direct access to a host of training suppliers positioned in a central area, with further specialist advice and information also available from staff at GoSkills.

Euro Bus Expo 2008 almost fully sold out
The latest sales figures released by the organisers of Euro Bus Expo 2008 confirm that the exhibition is already very close to being fully sold out, despite being more than six months away from the opening of the show in November.
With less than 5% of stand space yet to be allocated, Euro Bus Expo (EBE08) is proving to be a hit with Exhibitors old and new, with sales significantly ahead of the equivalent point in 2006 when the highly successful inaugural show was staged.

Technology takes centre stage at Euro Bus Expo 2008
The latest developments in technology, that are increasingly shaping the European Bus and Coach industry, will play a central role at Euro Bus Expo 2008 with a dedicated Technology Zone fully integrated into the show for the first time.
″The adoption of new technology – be it in improving the efficiency of vehicle operations or enhancing the passenger experience – has accelerated in recent years as bus and coach operators seek new ways of attracting and retaining passengers, differentiating their product offer, as well as reducing their cost base″, according to Euro Bus Expo ′08 Show Director, Mark Griffin.

Manufacturers and suppliers from every corner of Europe′s bus and coach thriving industry are already planning their presence at what will be the largest dedicated exhibition for the sector on the continent this year.
Euro Bus Expo 2008 takes place at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham on 4-6th November, with leading industry names from countries including Belgium, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Scandinavia, Spain, Turkey and of course the UK contributing to the list of 175 exhibitors taking space at the show.

Euro Bus Expo breaks through the 10,000 attendance barrier
Euro Bus Expo closed on a high note yesterday (November 9th) after three days of record-breaking crowds, stunning displays of over 150 vehicles and exhibitors expressing their delight at the new business they have generated, announced the organisers of EBE 2006 at the Birmingham NEC.
With an impressive rise in attendance figures, covering every category, it confirmed EBE as the European meeting place for the dedicated Bus and Coach industry.
